  1. Find a Property.
Visit the Pricing and Availability page for a list of properties to choose from and visit the property page for more information. The property pages contain photos and floor plans of model units but you may also contact the office to schedule a tour of an available unit. (Tours are subject to time and availability.)
  2. Submit Rental Application.
You’ve found an apartment! The next step is to submit a rental application. The cost is $32.50 per application and the fee is non-refundable. Our rental criteria is available for your reference on the next page. If you have any questions about the criteria, or being approved; please contact the Hill Rental Properties office.
All persons over the age of 18 and occupying the apartment will be required to complete their own rental application. Rental applications are available both online as well as in the Hill Rental Properties office. Hill Rental will not process rental applications that are incomplete, illegible, or if the application fee has not been paid.
  3. Application Processing.
Once your application is received, a temporary hold will be placed on the apartment you choose until your application results are back. Applications typically take 24-48 business hours to process. Incomplete applications or incorrect contact information will slow down this process.
Hill Rental will contact you when your results are in and, if approved, set up an appointment to sign the lease. Be prepared to pay the security deposit and last month’s rent when you sign the lease.
If you are not prepared to sign a lease or make the necessary payment, Hill Rental Properties will release the hold on the apartment and make it available to the next applicant.
  4. Sign Lease.
Set up an appointment view the apartment and sign the lease. Payment for the security deposit and last month’s rent is due when you sign the lease.
  5. Move in!
Your apartment will be ready for move in the day the lease begins. You will need to pay your first month’s rent in full to receive your keys. (First month’s rent is pro-rated from the day the lease begins). Tenants are able to pay online through the tenant portal or in the office by cash, check, or money order.
Lastly, double check the Hill Rental Properties office hours. If you plan to arrive outside of office hours, please contact us in advance and we will make the necessary arrangements to move you in.
